A little background about Motherhood Minis:

If you’ve been following me for awhile you know that each spring I host an annual fundraiser. As a family photographer in Columbus, Ohio, I have met some of my most loyal, wonderful clients through these events AND I get to do something that positively impacts my community, so it’s a tradition I cherish and want to continue. It started in 2016 when I was asked to donate mini-sessions to raise money for the Columbus Babywearing library, which I did for three consecutive years. I also participated in a Front Steps Project in 2020, raised money for the Young Mother’s Fund with Elaine at Columbus Birth Arts in 2021, then for Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed in 2022, and then $1000 for Kaleidoscope Youth Center each year from 23-25. This year I’ll be raising money to help our immigrant friends and neighbors during this horrific time in our country.

2026 Sessions and how to sign up:

WHAT: I’ll be raising funds for CRIS, an organization that helps refugees and immigrants reach safety and stability, sustain self-sufficiency, and achieve successful integration into the Central Ohio community. My goal is to raise $1000 for the organization, with your help!

WHEN: Sunday, March 22nd. Contact me to secure an exact time. Event will be held rain or shine.

WHERE: Motherhood sessions will be held back-to-back in 5 or 10 minute intervals at my salon suite at Collage Salons in Worthington. Think a simple backdrop and intimate space for classic portraits of you and your kiddos.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Any person who identifies as a mother. Also, this can be what you make it – you with your kids, your kids solo, you with your mom (or chosen mom), breastfeeding pics, maternity pics - they’re are all welcome. However, due to limited space and time sessions must be kept to 1-3 people per group. These are not meant to be used for family photos. And unfortunately, since this event is taking place on private property, I ask that you leave all fur babies at home (it makes me sad too!).

COST + HOW IT WORKS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS THINGS HAVE CHANGED:

Because I want as many people to participate as possible, there is no minimum donation to secure a spot. Contribute as much as you are comfortably able. Your donation secures a 5 minute session and ONE digital image of your choice. You will donate directly to CRIS through Go Fund Me, which is required to secure your spot. Please contact me to secure a spot BEFORE donating.

***Worried about the time? Donations of $75 or more will secure a 10 minute session. This may be useful if: your child/ren are camera shy, you want a wider variety of images, or you are coming with more than one child.

About 2-3 weeks after your session, you’ll receive your gallery via email in the form of a slideshow. After you view the slideshow, you’ll be able to select the image you’d like to keep, or decide if you’d like to purchase additional images.

If you’d like to upgrade you will have two options to do so.

Option 1: Five of your favorite digital images for an additional $100, paid to the photographer.

Option 2: All of your digital images PLUS $50 of print credit for an additional $200, paid to the photographer.

Why do I have it set up this way? I truly want everyone who feels passionately about this cause to be able to participate. If your budget only allows you to support the organization, I absolutely want you to come and walk away with a beautiful image. However, if you are also able to support the artist, that is always welcome and deeply appreciated.

Want a spot? Reach out here and I'll get you set up! I'm so excited to have something positive and uplifting to look forward to this spring :)

*Because this is donation-based, I will not be able to give a refund if you sign up but then cannot attend.

**Want to get involved but don’t want pictures? You can donate to my GoFundMe for CRIS here.
