What’s better than being a child in the summertime? Living carefree with endless long, unwinding days stretching before you. I think it’s the best season to bottle up the essence of childhood on the nostalgic medium of film.
That’s why I’m offering Summer Film Sessions - an opportunity for a short and fun-filled session shot on three rolls of film, in your backyard or favorite park, offered on select evenings throughout the summer.
Why summer? Why film?
Summer is all about vibrant colors and playful accessories. Think funky sunglasses, beach towels, bubbles, ribbon dancers, sidewalk chalk, popsicles… Incorporate these props into your family photoshoot for an extra dose of fun and personality. Throw in some film and the abundant summer sunshine and we’re sure to capture the pop of colors in a way that's vibrant and nostalgic. It simply cannot be replicated digitally.
Film also forces me to be so much more intentional with your images. This can lead to a more meaningful session, where each shot is carefully considered. For family photos, this intentionality can translate into capturing genuine moments and emotions that reflect the warmth and joy of summertime.

My absolute favorite photos of my own children have been taken in summertime, when I pack a single roll of film along on our adventures to create memories that will last long into our futures. I want to offer that to you too.
